One license, 40+ states
If your primary state of residence is an NLC member state, your multi-state license covers travel assignments in any other NLC state. No new application, no new fee. If your home state is not NLC, or your assignment is in a non-compact state (CA, NV, NY, MA, OR, etc.), Gig walks the single-state application through with you and covers the fee.
What we do vs what you do
Gig pulls and submits your background check, orders your drug screen at the nearest lab, prepares and walks through state-board license applications, handles facility credentialing packets and competency tests, and tracks expirations with a reminder 60 days out. You confirm details, sign electronically, and complete any CEUs your state board mandates.
License fees, covered
For state nursing licenses required by an active Gig assignment, application and renewal fees are reimbursable. Submit the receipt; reimbursement processes with your next pay cycle. This applies to the assignment-required license only. We do not reimburse licenses you maintain independently.
